Newly elected IWWF President Jose Antonio Perez Priego, last week signed an MOU with ANOC (The Association of National Olympic Committees) to confirm our sport’s inclusion in the 2019 ANOC World Beach Games (https://awbgsandiego.com)
These biennial Multi-Sport Games will be held for the first time in San Diego, California, in 2019. The Wakeboard & Waterski Jump event dates will be October 12th / 14th
A total of 48 athletes (24 Men & 24 Women) will be selected to compete in Men’s & Women’s Wakeboard and Waterski Jump medal disciplines. Selection criteria will be announced by the IWWF in due course. Athletes must be entered through their respective National Olympic Committee’s (NOC’s). A maximum of 2 athletes per NOC will be permitted to enter each medal discipline.
