American Jackson Gerard Sets Pending World Trick Record At 2018 IWWF World Barefoot Worlds

Jackson Gerard is competing in his second IWWF Barefoot Worlds but he is already showing the veterans on the dock how to break records and win tournaments.  Gerard and the Americans dominated much of the medal rounds for Senior and Junior events in the IWWF World Barefoot Water Ski Championships at Dream Lake, in Napanee, Ontario, Canada on Friday.

Gerard won the Gold Medal in Tricks with a 14,050 point run, setting a pending Junior Boys World Record AND Open Men’s World Record. The Silver went to New Zealand’s William Leigh with 6,300 points and Bronze to Italian Andrea Emma with 6150.

Junior Girls Tricks was also dominated by the USA with Lexi McCauley winning Gold with 5100 points followed by Alex Youngblood with the Silver and Ryleigh Stenson the Bronze.

In Senior Men’s Tricks… Brett Sands of Australia brought home the Gold with 6180 … followed by 63-year-old American William Farrell with Silver and American Jason Lee with the Bronze.

In Senior Women’s Tricks Rachel Normand of the USA won her third Gold and cemented the overall followed by Germans Steffi Kirsch with Silver and Svenja Hempelmann with the Bronze.
