The 2018 IWWF World Barefoot Water Ski Championships has had nothing but incredible weather and performances on Dream Lake in Napanee, Ontario, Canada. But the threat of rain sent the tournament into overdrive Monday.

The Senior Men’s and Women’s Tricks, Junior Boys and Girls Jump, Women’s Jump, Women’s Tricks, Senior Women’s Jump and Boys Tricks preliminary rounds were all completed with some flips and high-flying flips.

In the Senior Women’s Event Rachel Normand of the USA continues to dominate… advancing to finals now in all three events in first place.

In Junior Boys, Jackson Gerard of the USA and Tee-Jay Russo of Australia continue to lead the field.

And in the tricks event with the most variety, Senior Men’s, had several incredible flip demonstrations including Doug Jordan of the USA and Gordie Croteau of Canada.

In Open Women’s, IWWF Female Barefoot Skier of the Year Ashleigh Stebbeings (AUS) and Georgia Groen (NZL) are leading the field of newcomers gunning for dominance.
