Following five years of solid domination by Chris “The Tower” Parrish USA, Nate Smith USA, in 2013 stepped in with a new World Slalom Record score of 2 buoys on the 9.75m line. He quickly pushed this even further to 2.5 buoys.

As the Skier who right now probably has run the 10.25m line more often than anybody else, he is currently awaiting IWWF approval of his latest spectacular performance of 3 buoys on the 9.75m line. What an extraordinary effort !

Congrats Nate and with our World Championships just around the corner in September in Paris, this promises to be a very exciting year for our sport 🙂
