The 3rd stop of the 2018 IWWF European Wakeboard Pro Tour by Mastercraft was hosted at Cliff Lakes, Midlands’ Premier Waterski and Wakeboard Centre, just 30 minutes outside Birmingham, UK’s second largest city. Birmingham is hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The UK has benefited massively from one of the hottest summers on record, providing great conditions for the riders to perform some massive tricks behind the Mastercraft XStar.
Sanne Meijer (NED), current IWWF European Women’s Champion, won her first IWWF European Wakeboard Pro Tour stop in Pro Women, with Katie Batchelor (GBR) in 2nd and Charlotte Millward (GBR) in 3rd. place.
David O’Caoimh (IRL), current IWWF European Men’s Champion, won his 2nd IWWF European Pro Wakeboard Tour stop title in 2018 in the Pro Men’s division. David landed 2 different 720 degree rotational tricks, back mobe, skeezer, tootsie roll, batwing to blind and tantrum to blind to take out veteran British riders Sam Carne (GBR) who placed second and Dan Knott (GBR) third.

The next and final stop of the IWWF European Wakeboard Tour will be held 3rd August 2018 in the Reiti, Italy during during the week of the IWWF European & African Wakeboard Championships.
Towed by MasterCraft Boat Company, 30 of the top Pro Men & Pro Women will compete for a total cash purse of US$45,000.00 and the opportunity to be crowned the 2018 IWWF European Wakeboard Pro Tour Champion.
